Bidders Age: You must be 18 years of age or older to bid. No bid retractions are allowed unless agreed upon in advance by email.
Buyers Inspection: BMW Motorcycles of Detroit has done our best to disclose all information known about this vehicle for auction. We welcome a buyer’s inspection. If you plan to have a buyer’s inspection, please make sure you inspect the vehicle prior to the auction ending. Inspection fees if any are Buyers responsibility.
Representations and Warranties made by seller: This vehicle is being sold “as is”. Manufacturers warranties still apply. Absolutely NO representations or warranties are made by seller, nor are any representations or warranties relied upon by bidders in making bids. We take pride in selling high quality machines, but keep in mind you are winning the vehicle, not the right to decide if you want it. We pursue and prosecute deadbeat bidders.
Taxes and Registration fees: Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered. See your state laws.
Title Information: In the State of Michigan, titles to vehicles are held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. If payment is made by cashier’s or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.
Finalizing your Purchase: We will contact the successful high bidder by e-mail after the auction closes with further instructions.
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1000.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 3 days of auction end.
The bike is held for you as soon as we receive your deposit, not when you win the auction. All bikes are located in our showroom and are available to the public to buy until you reserve it..
If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. If you are financing this purchase, be sure that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
