This motorcycle is clean, runs perfect, is loads of fun in the dirt, and you can ride it to your favorite mudhole or trail!
I am the second owner. I purchased it last year from the original owner. He did not take it off road much. He was using it to commute to work. I have had it in the dirt more than on the street, and I can testify that it is a good dirt bike. I looked at the larger 650’s and such when I was researching before purchasing this bike, and they are massive beasts. I am only about 5′8″ and wanted something I could control in the dirt. This bike was the answer. I have thoroughly enjoyed riding it and am only selling because my wife complains that she can’t ride with me. I have purchased a streetbike that she can ride with me, but I can’t keep both! My loss, your gain!
On to the nitty gritty…
This bike was ridden mostly on the street prior to my purchase. The rear tire was replaced before I got the bike. The front tire is pretty well worn and I have purchased a new tire and tube for it, but have not yet had them installed. This will cost $20-$40 to have done depending on where you go. The new tire matches the rear and is a good enduro tire. The tire and tube are included with the motorcycle. The stock tires on this bike were pretty agressive and seemed to wear pretty quick on the road.
These bikes are tall when sitting on them at a stop. This seems to bother some people, but the motorcycle was not designed to be sat on, it was designed to ridden off road! The shocks are adjustable so you can tinker with ride heights, pre-loads, and what have you, should you feel so inclined.
The only modification that has been made to this bike has to do with the license plate bracket. It was modified so that the tag doesn’t hang so low, and the tag light was moved to an area underneath the rear fender. I am not sure why the previous owner moved it there, but it didn’t bother me so I left it alone.
This motorcycle gets great gas mileage and is a real head turner on the street. Most kids almost break their necks to check it out! (What’s that dirtbike doing on the street?) It is really not a bad street bike either. It has a pretty soft seat. I have done some 100 mile combination dirt and street rides on it, and didn’t suffer at all!
Shipping will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. I will try to assist to some extent as long as it doesn’t take too much time or cost me any money. There is a Forward Air terminal in Orlando, and for a fee I may be willing to drop it off there for you but all arrangements will be the responsibility of the buyer. If you want to know what it would cost to ship it call Forward Air, don’t ask me. I may also be willing to deliver or meet you if the distance is reasonable, or we agree on a fee. I am in the Daytona Beach area.
I require a NON-REFUNDABLE $300 deposit via paypal within 24 hours of the close of auction. The rest due at pick-up or prior to shipping of motorcycle. You must contact me within 48 hours of auction close with notification of your intentions. If I do not recieve said notification you will lose your deposit and item will be relisted. Payment methods accepted are CASH, CASHIERS CHECK, and MONEY ORDER. DO NOT PAY THE FULL AMOUNT VIA PAYPAL. Any amount paid through paypal over the $500 deposit will be charged whatever fee paypal charges!
