I am unsure of the year of this bike, I bought it from a friend up north about 2 years ago. He had several of them and his young children raced them. He told me the only thing he removed was the carb, to use on one of his newer bikes. So I bought it, thinking I would fix it up for my son, as it was the perfect size for him to learn on. Well as with many (almost all) of my projects this got placed on the back burner and forgotten about. Since I bought it, it had been stored indoors inside my enclosed trailer. I just listed the enclosed trailer today and found this while I was cleaning it out. Since I never got into it, there isnt much I can tell you other than what was told to me when I purchased it. The tires are good and they hold air they have had the same air in the tires since I bought it over 2 years ago. The plastic is good, with the exception of scratches in the plastic from normal wear. The seat is also in great condition, with only a few scuff marks. Everything on this bike appears to be complete with the exception of a carb, this will be an easy part to find many 50cc carbs are interchangeable meaning you can often times use a Honda carb on a Yamaha or Kawasaki. Other than that I see a good bike needing a small cheap repair. We will ship this if you want us to, Local pickup is available, or we could deliver for a small fee to cover fuel costs. We travel often, so it wouldnt be much trouble. We will be traveling through TN, IL, IN, OH, PA, DE, MD, NJ, NY, MA, SC, GA, FL, KY, WV, MI, VA, within the next 2 weeks to a month, So if you live in any of these states we could get it to you for little cost. ATV’s and Motorcycles have for a long time been a hobby of mine, my primary business is Machinist/Mechanic. I have been collecting and working on bikes and ATV’s for longer than I can remember and I have amassed quite a collection totaling over 300 machines. Up for auction is nice little PW 80 kids bike! I believe this is a 1986 model, but I could be wrong. I bought this bike for my daughter and its a little to tall for her, so instead of having it just sit around for the next few years I am going to sell it.
When I bought it, it was low on compression so I had it rebuilt, it is now bored .010 over with a new YAMAHA piston, rings, wrist pin, wrist pin bearing, and gaskets! The bike start and runs good. This is a three speed no clutch type of bike. They are very easy to ride and very light. Everything is in good condtion, tires hold air, small tear in the back of the seat, regular scratches for a kids dirtbike.. At some point someone put a different shock on the bike(I’m not sure why, but it works good)..
